Sledding Fun

Since this post has been a long time coming. Sorry about that. We are under an arctic chill right now, so haven't been able to play out side. I decided to share the pictures of your family sledding trip that we did on Dec 29th (decently warm/cold) perfect for an hour or so of sledding.

The kids were given a sled for Christmas so we headed over to a golf course that has some good sledding hills & off we went.

Matt made sure to take a picture of me because as many of you know I am not a cold weather type of person. In other words I would hibernate if I could. So me outside sledding is something new. This sledding trip took place on a Saturday afternoon...which the Friday night before I bought my boots & snow pants so I would be ready.

Bryceton sledded down the hill once with Matt & then once with myself. Then he was done... He enjoyed watching the rest of us take our turns, and of course he liked to help push us to get us started down the hill. Then he decided why do you need to go down the hill on a sled??? So he started rolling down the hill.

Emmersyn has a blast sledding down the hill many times with both Matt & I. She even tried to walk the sled back up the hill a few times only to hand it off to Matt. After a while she too was done sledding so she took Bryce's idea & started rolling in the snow.

We had a wonderful time sledding & Matt's dad even joined us to watch the kids play in the snow. We will have to plan another sledding trip if the temp ever gets above freezing.

Were in an artic freeze also. We haven't been sledding since Fargo. I'm also one that doesn't like the cold and would stay in all winter if I could.

Sledding is fun! However I agree-- it is nice when it is about 30... not 2!
