Checking her list
Well as many of you are aware Emmersyn starts Kindergarten two weeks from yesterday. So over the past weekend we got out her school supply list & made sure we had everything we need.
8 Pencils (sharpened-do not label)
Check...
Pencil box (plastic- 5"x8")
Large erasers, crayons, markers (8 pack)
Check...
Lots of glue sticks, folders (with & without prongs)
Check...
box of Kleenex, 2 bottles hand sanitizer & pop up wipes
Check...
gym shoes, backpack (no wheels) & the lunch box
Check...
Last but not least the bath towel (rest mat)
we've got it all & since this last Friday & Saturday was tax free we also got Emma 2 new school outfits. Emmersyn was so excited when I told her she gets to pick out her own towel, backpack, lunch box, shoes & clothes (of course I had approve all).
The pants she decided on were supposed to be pants that rolled up to be
Capri's, but with 
Emmersyn as tiny as she is they are rolled up pants (in this picture the look like P.J.s). The skirt outfit she picked out the week before in a store add then found it at the store.I believe she is as ready as she'll ever be.

Love the skirt outfit. That is adorable. That school bag with matching lunch box is cute also. Matthias is using a back pack that I bought at a garage sale but at Christmas will be getting a new one and a new lunch box.
I'm not so sure it matters if SHE is ready... the question is are YOU ready??
Oh my. What a big girl! I agree with heather.. and YOU ready mom? My waterworks start when I even THINK about Henry starting pre-school!
the day will be "Bitter Sweet", I know she gets board at home & wants to be with friends so in that respect I am ready. On the other hand my baby girl is going to school full time, it will take a little to get use to. I guess the real test will be on the 21st. Who will tear up more??
