Don't rain on our parade

Yes we were in the Iowa State Fair parade for Emmersyn's dance Studio & Yes we got wet.

Becky's dance studio is always in the fair parade & I have walked in it with the girls since Emma started dancing. Well last Wednesday was no different except for the fact that thunderstorms were closing in fast.

Matt & Bryce dropped Emma & I off at the drop off spot the headed down to find the perfect spot. Which they did. The parade goes west on Grand from E 6th to 13th so Matt went to the parking garage right around 10th & parked along the edge over looking Grand. When it poured they stayed dry (lucky them)

Bryce's favorite part in the parade was "Curious George" & of course seeing Emma & I as we passed.

Emmersyn is the 4 girl from the left (counting the girls sitting facing the camera). The picture is a little blurry since Bryce was helping Matt take the picture, but it works.

Emma enjoys being in the parade & she is already looking forward to next year's .
