Santa 07

It has become a family tradition that when we go see Santa at the mall that we all go & we all share this time together with him. This year was no different....

Matt, the kids & I headed to the mall one foggy snowy night so the wait wasn't long at all. After we all sat down with Santa he pulled out his book & just drew the kids in.

By the end of the 10 minute visit Santa, he knew the kid's wish list & he also told the kids to help out around the house & of course be good. The kids were so very excited.
We do believe in Santa... Santa is the excitement in a child's eyes when they feel a connection. He's an Innocent part of childhood. In our house he is a piece of Christmas, but only a small part. A way I heard the action of gift giving on Christmas is "When we give gifts at Christmas, we are giving the JESUS in each others hearts a give for his Birthday". The gift of giving is LOVE anyway you look at it. We have him as a part of our Nativity scene which JESUS will be opened the 1st thing Christmas morning.

Sorry

I'm sorry for not getting the site updated like I had said I would. Since I am now experiencing the holiday season in retail for the first time, my time has been very consumed with my stay at home commitments & now my employment commitments & then if I have time sleep. Now that the midnight hours are over & the holiday is flying by I do plan on picking up starting the new year so bear with me yet again.

I haven't forgotten the annual Christmas letter either, again with the usual stress of the holiday season I decided that I would write a Bring on the new year letter instead.so look for that sometime in January.
