Bryceton Jan/Feb 2009

For Bryceton, since he is too young for most of the sports clinics her in town, his schedule has been pretty slow. He does keep busy with school 3 days a week & spends his days with me & the babysitting kids.

One of the assignments for school was to create a valentine box/holder for the exchange they had in class. So taking a hint off of the "Frog" Emmersyn made back in preschool we made a "Monkey" to hold his valentine's. Here is a some picture of his finished product. He is very proud of this so it might stick around for a little while.

Emmersyn Jan/Feb 09

Emmersyn started off 2009 with a few things to keep her busy.

On the 10th of Jan uary she had her Winter show for "Just for Kix" dance company that she now dances for. It was a great performance & all the girls & boys did great. Tha preformance was at the SEP High school auditorium. then the 24th.
She will also have her spring show on May 2nd more details to come you are all invited.
She joined the SEP Cheerleaders for a cheer clinic that lasted all morning. That cheer clinic then preformed at halftime of the Varsity girls basketball game the following Friday.
Emmersyn enjoyed cheering & learning new dance moves. She got the outfit back on so I could take some pictures.

To finish off the month she then joined the East High Steppers in a steppers clinc that would also preform durning halftime of the
basketball game on the 10th of Feb.

She had so much fun with both the dance & the clinic & can't wait to do them all over again.

A Valentine's Day Gift

I has started all ready....

Emmersyn has received her 1st gift from a boy (not family). This very young man (almost 7) has let Emmersyn steal his heart. As he told his mom that he really likes her & it's the right thing to do is give her something for Valentine's Day. He told his mom he wanted to give Emmersyn a heart ring, that said his mom said a bracelet or necklace would be better. So he picked out this very lovely Lia Sophia bracelet & wrapped it up in paper that he decorated himself.
He is a very sweet boy.

He & his mom dropped it off at the house the other night & so he could be there to watch her open it. Which is funny since the Disney channel was on when he was over & they were both glued to whatever was on TV. So it wasn't to serious of an occasion.

Just a very thoughtful & caring gift.

We are friends with his parents & so we were given a heads up on the gift before it was brought to Emmersyn. This is the same boy that called Emmersyn his girlfriend all last year too.

So who knows there maybe something there is lets say 15-20 years!!!!

Time for change

Since Matt & Emmersyn had a date on the 7th, I decieded Bryceton & I needed something to do so......

After stoping at Lowes & picking out & up a gallan of paint.

The Plan: to clean out my office & paint

Before pictures of the office!
So once I got home I started cleaning out the office & boy was that a task. I had to take a break from cleaning to help Emmersyn get ready for the dance, but once they left Bryceton played the Wii so I could finish the empting of the room. Once the room was taped, the fun was just beging. Bryceton stripped down to a t-shirt, undyroos & socks (so not to ruin any other clothes) & the painting began.

We only painted 3 of the four walls since I could not move the desk by myself. Once Matt got home at 9:15pm he & I moved the desk & I finished painting the last wall. Matt & I waited until the paint was dry & we brought what was coming back into the room back in. The rest of the stuff is waiting for a home downstairs.

I even cleaned out the cuboard that I stored all the kids craft stuff in, now it is my storage for my Signature HomeStyles business & other groups I am a part of. How exciting to have a office of my own now. In the future I would even like to put glass pained french doors on it to close it off when I am working, but that will be a while.

I still am working on getting it decorated & getting stuff on the walls. I will post the finished product, when I get everything up.

Father/Daugher Date 2009

Yes you read it right Emmersyn & Matt had their annual Father Daughter Dance & Date night on the 7th.

Clay Elementary hosted a district wide father/daughter dance for all grades K-6. Emmersyn loved going to the dance that the church hosted last year so it was kind of a given that Matt would escort her again this year.

First to find a dress (also will be her Easter dress). After shopping around Emmersyn found one she liked & it wasn't to costly. We got it, some shoes (high heals of course) & a purse to go with.

Matt & Emmersyn were planning to go out to dinner before the dance, but when other things are going on that same day things don't always go as planned. They left in time to go & pick up her flower & head to the dance.

They have a great time , even though they had to wait in line for pictures for an hour . (that picture will be posted as soon as I get it.) After many dances both fast & slow it was time to come home.

Matt made Emmersyn's night & she still talks about what they did. She is already looking forward to another date w/daddy again.
