Happy late birthday to me

Last Saturday I turned another year older. I have been so busy with everything I didn't get on line at all this past weekend.

We celebrated with the kids all morning with camping storms & our tent rolling. Then we packed up & decided to try camping another weekend. So at home we we dried the ten out in our garage. That evening Matt & I went out with our good friends Eddy & Melissa, out at the bon-fire we had wonderful food & great drinks all while watching others taking a plunge into ice cold pond water. After that we headed to Eddy & Melissa's house were we were planning to stay the night & wouldn't have to drive anywhere. There we started another bon-fire & stayed up talking until 3:30 am.

I was a little bit tired Sunday morning, but I survived.

A big thank you goes out to Eddy & Melissa you are family to the end & I couldn't have asked for a better time. I love you both (& the girls too!). Also thank you for all birthday wish calls sorry I missed some of them, but they all brought a smile to my face so thank you.

Earth Day 08

I know, I know Earth day was in April. The only problem with that was Emmersyn had a "Trash to Treasure" project that was assigned & I didn't get any pictures of it before it went to school. Once at school it was on display for the past month. This is why I haven't written until now.

Emmersyn's "Trash to Treasure" project was to create something,

anything out of stuff you would find in a recycle bin.

What to make? What to Make? Emmersyn said how about an Elephant? Sure why not, lets try so to our bin to see what we could find.......pop bottle lids, milk jugs, strawberry crates, yogurt containers, paper, toilet paper rolls, foil.....

And here is our Elephant

We all had a little fun brainstorming this one, but Emmersyn was ultimately the deciding factor on where the items went & what items were used. All the way down to the tooth pick tusks. This project now over looks the kitchen from the bulk head of the cabinets

So next time your over you'll have to take a peek. Emmersyn is very proud of her pet elephant.

Yep, I'm still here

The reason I haven't written is we haven't done much to write about. We all have been busy with school, t-ball, Bam Bam ball, work & life in general. I will have some pictures of the kids coming soon from school projects to sports etc. just let me get back into the updating mood. Sorry for the inconvenience & the lack of updating I just don't want to bore you all with everyday stuff all the time. I know I could & hopefully (cross your fingers) start updating at least once a week if things are not happening.
