Bryceton like his sister is growing up way too fast. He is such a little man & is always trying to figure out ways to out do & out last anyone trying to do the same thing.

Haircut

This last weekend we finally did it. I took Emmersyn out & we got her hair cut. Yes a haircut. This was not just any hair cut we actually took 7 inches off & she now has a cute chin length bob. We have talked about cutting it for a while & Emmersyn would jump back & fourth on short or just a trim. I let her be the final deciding factor & she choose to go short. I will have a picture this afternoon (after school).

While getting into the car from the salon she made the comment "Mom I so look 10", I laughed & then thought OMG she isn't that far away from 10 she will be 7 in March. Maybe I want her to grow her hair out long again so she will still look like the little girl she is.

Busy

That sums it up for you. I have been very busy.

To fill everyone in, back in October I was asked to open my avaibility up at Kohl's & work every other full weekend (Sat & Sun). I informed them I don't work Sundays & I already give them every other Sat. With that said I turned in my 2 week notice. I never got terminated. A week after my last day they called me back & asked me to stay on with out changing anything. I agreed, I start back tomorrow night.

Last Friday we dropped off the kids @ Matt's Dad's house & Matt & I headed to a marriage retreat at our church. We both had a lot of fun. The retreat was Friday night & then all day Saturday (we even got a hotel room for Friday night). We grew stronger as a couple, individuals & both in our spiritual relationship. I recommend everyone be blessed by attending a marriage retreat. We are looking forward to the next one.

On Sunday as a family we finally did it. We went to see High School Musical 3. It was cute & Emmersyn really enjoyed it. I know Matt could have probably thought of many other movies to go see, but doing something with the family made it all okay.

Bryceton is loving preschool, but still getting use to the fact that I now babysit (5 month old & a 4 year old) everyday. Some days don't go as well as others. He is only becoming stronger & learning to express his emotions & feelings, each day is a new experience.

Other than that we have just been busy with life & we look forward to the plans God has for us!
